Girls Zoo Day

What an amazing day! We took 306 girls (ages 5 to 18), 10 tutors from the community, 13 translators and 38 team members to the zoo today. Miguel had everything organized, the girls had name tags on, and lunches were made. We took the girls around the zoo in groups of 6 and split our team members between the groups. We had a rest time in the middle of the day as we ate lunch, played games and visited with each other.

Christian has challenged us each evening to look for God during the day. I wanted to share with you where I saw God today. I saw him in the smiles, laughter, giggles, "mas grande", hugs, hands held, games played, in teens who were security detail in making sure there were no "lost sheep" and nobody was left behind, cloud cover and gentle breezes, in those who had little ones holding tight as they walked every step, in high fives at the end of the day, in sleep walking little ones as they began to wear out, "Gracias" and "Da Nada"!!

Thank you God for the blessings of the day.
Cyndy
