God has blessed us with an incredible opportunity to build relationships, study the bible, make new friends, and enjoy the company of a very special group of children in a community outside of Lima, Peru. After several trips to the community, we have lots of new friends and we can't wait to return to this very special place where Miguel opens his arms of acceptance and love to children who have been turned away from their own homes. They are a family here. There are over 700 children in the community, where they live, do chores, learn trades, go to school and grow into loving productive adults.
There will be 38 teens and adults from Westover Hills Church of Christ spending their spring break loving and spending time with the children in the community. We hope you will follow our journey as we share our lives with the children there. We pray that God will bless us with lots of incredible memories and ways to share Jesus as we minister to others this week.
